The Italy "In Bocca" cookbook series was published starting in 1976 and onward by Il Vespro and Edikronos. It is a rare series of books, all are bound in cardboard with rough rustic paper stock and textured serigraph color cover and inside image printing. There were a total of 20 cookbooks in the series, one for each Italian region, all with their own distinctive recipes and ingredients.
These books are truly unique, complete inside with with traditional regional dishes, illustrated with artwork and images and woodcuts. The book is very clean, just a slight mark on back and very light edge wear. A one owner book, it was gifted to the seller shortly after initial publication and has been stored ever since, never used. Interior pages all clean.
Book is stamped 10,000 lira inside back cover.
